Touching up

ok, im respraying my boot strip and corners on the calais and i was wondering what is the best method to making the strips red again.
would it be tape it up and paint it?
or buy a red pin strip and put it on there?
or any other suggestions?

i'd personally try some red pin stripe the same size as the existing lines...
