fuel and temp gauges not working?

hope someone has some idea about this one.
my fuel and temp guages are intermittantly not working, when they arnt working the temp guage does nothing and the fuel guage goes almost to the top???
i have removed the dash and checked the connections and they are all good, dont know what else to try now?

try checking you connection on your motor for the temp guage and giving it a clean otherwise replace the connection shouldnt be too costly and on your fuel sender if you give that a clean with crc or something like it it should hopefully fix it otherwise again a new sender would be an option.

is that an SL/E fault or something, but my fuel gauge also intermittantly does the same, one minute i'll be at half a tank, then the next i'll be at full... i'm sure i didnt go to the servo in that minute... lol...

I think it must be i havent had it with this one luckily but ive had it with another SLE i had. My main problems with this one is my speedo keeps playing up and trans.

got it! the fuel guage was faulty, replaced the guage and no more problems.
