each state has different laws regarding bonnet scoops but if your using factory fitted scoop you should be able to do what you like under it

Here's a pic of the hole we chucked in the wagon. Not for a scoop tho, for the air filter to go through
Dunno if it's legal, we just did it!
The wagon has a regency defect on it, so we're just doing it up for skids, wether it's legal or not won't really matter for us

Whether or not you'd get away with it, but what happens when it rains?![]()
haha when it rains we chuck a bag over it.![]()
We've only driven the car once since the air filters were through the bonnet....we just thrash it out the salt flats (on private property) (we're making it into a burnout car for legal comps), and as one of the engine mounts is a bit rooted, the engine moves over a bit and it makes the air filters hit the bonnet.....and eventually it broke the weld which was holding the extended bolt together which holds down the air cleaners (it has 3 lol)

I have a SLR5000 style bonnet scoop, its fibreglass. From my knowledge in South Aussie, i assume that only the orgiinal bonnet strength should remain, so since i have the SLR scoop, if i cut around the bracing it should be all good? If so i will relocate my washer jets under the scoop for that cleaner look.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Cheers
Adam
