i am painting the black sections on my VK berlina on the top half of the doors (around the windows) and im not sure if the original colour was a gloss black or a satin/matt black.
could somebody please tell me what type the colour is and the name of it?
Cheers...
Scott
it was a gloss acrylic but it wasnt all that glossy anyway. I recently resprayed my VK in 2 pac and we did the tops of the doors in gloss black it looks tops.

Apparently Holden used Tuxedo Black, gloss for the black trimmings on the SL/E/Calais models. The trimmings are the window surrounds, panel where the tailights sit in.
And yup i agree, all VB-VLs look great with the window surrounds black, all should of been factory like that.
