Guys,
Just a quick one - in my Calais warning lamp display (the strip where the indicators are), just right of the park brake light, there's an LED (not a normal globe like every other one) with no symbol - it's just a circle. It's not mentioned in the manual and I'm not sure what it's for - but given Holden have specifically put an LED in there it must be for something.
Anyone able to give me an idea as to what? If not then I'm gonna use it for my alarm I think
- Chris.
Ideas guys? Someone must have something... what's it for?
Ok on the electronic facia it goes as follows left to right

I've noticed the same LED in my cluster, I thought it may have been a modification by the last owner. I'll check it out tonight for ya.
Its the photo sensor as mentioned in my post

I'm told its supposed to adjust the brightness of your electronic dash to reduce glare, but if you ask me its just there to shit you.
Been meaning to bypass my dimming circuit..
I would've thought that an LDR would be used.
Well - question answered - cheers
(though I can't say it makes a difference... cover it with my hand or shine a torch on it, no different!)
