Your car will drive and look like a boat if you cut them and if you carry passengers in the back, good luck.

Dont listen to anyone saying its dangerous, thats bullshit... Back when I was 16 and till now ive cut springs on numerous amounts of cars. Never had a problem, just makes it a bit rougher to drive but meh. Just cut the springs on my g/f's 323 and it made it handle and look better. VK, VN, 4 Camiras, N13 Exa. The car I have now is the only 1 I havent cut the springs. Got super lows. I say cut away.

If someone needs to come here asking how to cut springs, they shouldn't be doing it.

just a thing to remember, not that im recommending cutting springs, nor am i disagreeing with the idea, but just be careful with you're direction of the sparks from the grinder, dont let them hit the next coil up or it will weaken it and in time will cause it to gve way when underload... been there done that... lol...

Sorry guys, hate to be a downer on the whole subject. It has been done to death several times before and as mentioned many times, it is illegal.
