Hi every one how do you measure up a cam. I have been given a new cam and have been told it was a bigger cam than standard. I can get some photos next week if that will help.

It takes alot of work to measure a cam it really needs to be installed then you use a dial indicator to measure the lift, as you rotat it you can measure the valve open & close durations and obe offset.

Most cams will have brand and serial number stamped into the back of them. If yours does contact the supplier quote the serial number and they will beable to send you a cam grind sheet.
