    Default 202 carb

    Hey Guys,
I ultimately wanted to make this into a poll but i haven't asked enough questions yet.

What Carbie are you all running on your 3.3's ?

I'm after a new carbie and dunno what way to go

Holley or another Verjet or something different?

can I get your preference and why so much more over the other ?
I dont know much about carbs

    any help would be great

    Wade

Most people have Varajets. Just stay with the Varajet. It's an ok carb. Stick a Holley on and you'll risk getting a canary.

did you set your float level when you did your rebuild? a common cause to flooding...
but, personally, over the years of muckin round withh mates 6-pot commies, we've found there wasnt really any advantage over the stock carb...

the only real gain from a holley is when you've had engine work done, cam etc where a std one can't feed enough fuel

Quadrajet is a four barrel carb hence the name. Varajets are just the standard dual barrel carb for the later 202's.

I had a 350 holley on my standard 202 blue had no dramas what so ever. You really need to have it built/tuned for a six. Straight from the box the holley would be a very bad choice. Stick with the standard carb untill you get some decent mods happening like cam, head work ect
