In the VK it has a little black thing you push in before starting it, well lastnight I accidently slammed it in the door and now it dont work![]()
We have the over ride code but dont wanna have to do this each time we wanna start it, an cant afford to have it fixed by someone else.
So what I wanna do is disconnect it, Does anyone know how to do this?
Thanks in advance guys![]()
First of all you need to give more info like what is the thing you press and is it part of an alarm or what?
Sounds like one of those old fashioned ones that uses a button as opposed to a remote..
Did you have it installed or was it in the car when you got it?

sorry bout the lack of info lol you dont push any buttons it pushes into the dash it has 2 metal dots where it contacts on the dash.
It's called a Dynamco australia if that helps and is also part of an alarm.
Thanks again![]()
If its a momentory button it sounds like a relay latching circuit. In that case there should be a relay somewhere that the button is wired to.
If you can find the relay you'll just need to join two wires, but there will be more than two at the relay. Look for a larger pair of wires that connect to common and normally open (N/O). Failing that replace the button with another momentory switch.
use your over ride code for dynamco products
you would have goten a credit card size card with 4 digits on it
if not pm me ill tell ya how to extract the code and ya can start ya car
its all black wiring unless you knwo what ya doing dont f)&(^ with it
