    Default VC Headlight

    Hey Guys

I have a small problem not that big, ive fixed it but i think there could be a better way of doing it !

On my left headlight im current short the chrome mould, the problem is without it my headlight boucnes up and down ... ive used carsboard to fill in the gap but thats only going to work for so long and hence if it rains or it gets sucked up in my air fliter..

I've been waiting on the mould for awhile now and probley still allot longer to go, as i want it cheap

    Is this a question?

I am waiting for someone to hand me chrome trim strips for my bumper. One of these days I will get them off a VK.

there should be two little white plastic "spacers" with a groove in them that press into the body underneath the headlight, they perish over time with heat generated from the headlights and enginebay. tey are still availble as NOS (new old stock) from Holdens and are only around 50c a clip (you'll need 2 for each headlight), i suggest you grab some and some spares while theyre still readily available if your gonna keep your VC for a while. also I'd keep an eye out for the wreckers for good headlights (ones with the "Holden" glass are starting to get harder to get and will soon only be an ebay item).

    hope this helps mate.
