i was also looking to put new clear front lamps and indecator light in the front do you know if they fit in also?
Thanks James
These are the lights
ohh ok it seems like alot of work just for head light's but i will look into it.
so is that 4 the indercators aswell if i just put the clear 1s in is it the same case with the bonnet & pannels?
i was told by the seller of the clear indecators and he said the wont fit. does any one know is there is clear indecators for the front of a VC made?
Thanks James
Like Goon said, to chuck the VH/VK headlight/indicator assembly in a VB/VC, ya just need chuck a VH/VK bonnet and fenders on. It aint nothing hard to do. The bonnet is 4 bolts, and the fenders have a few extra bolts, but nothing to hard. There's 2 behind each kick panel, one underneath behind the wheel, all the ones on top, and about 3 underneath where it joins up to the apron (the same for the other side). Also there's a bar which bolts up to the fender, which is the same bolt holding the bumper on. Also holding the bumper on will be 4 bolts which bolt up to the chassis rails.....if ya get under the front of ya car u should see all of these (except the ones up top and the ones behind the kick panels). To do the whole lot, changeover lights, bonnet, fenders, remove and replace bumper.....would prolly take bout an hour from start to finish if you've done it a few times...so it isn't a huge job or anything.

Thank's yeah i havent done it before coz this is my first car. ohh well i will look into it.
Thanks james
umm bit more involved than that and would take longer than an hour.you need to cut or bend away metal behind the headlights and front guards or you wont get either the headlights or indicators to fit/sit properly. conversion was covered in street commodores mag not long a go.
not a straight bolt up job
ohh ok. I dont have a chrome bumper i have a body kit on the VC. so it would fit in better like looks wise?
