VC Shadow Tone Color Codes

Hi guys as this is my first post I hope I have posted in the right area, I am hoping someone can help me with the color codes for the Black & Silver VC Shadowtone SLE Commodore as I am currently searching for this color vehicle.

What you need is the code for Tuxedo Black Mk II and Aztec Silver, these are the colours on the black/silver Shadowtone VC SL/Es.
Hang on, Aztec Silver Metallic code is 30851 and Tuxedo Black MkII is 30861. The 3 numbers at the start are to denote either solid colour or metallic colour.

Great information thanks Damien, I am looking at a VC SLE this weekend which is for sale and I wanted to be 100% sure of the black code as some of silver shadowtones came out with a dark blue top.

Oh and another hint for a factory black/silver shadow tone VC SL/E is the grey interior trim too.
Oh and the dark blue top half, sounds like Nocturnal Blue in colour or like mine, Magnum Silver

In the original VC Color sales brochure the featured Black/Silver Shadowtone SLE has a Blue interior, if you have the brochure Damien check it out and let me know your thoughts.

Yeah i got one of those, mine shows a Nocturnal Blue one with the interior blue in colour, the 2 shadow tone black/silver ones shows me grey trim with the rare optional rear seat head rests.

I will check out my brochure when i get home tonight, I dont remember seeing the grey interior, and also how rare are the rear head rests and were they specific to any model that you are aware of. My VC twotone is Firethorn Red and Dark Carmine on top with red interior, rear head rests and a factory twin system. Any information you have on this would be greatly appreciated.

Usually the only time you could get rear head rests is in a 336 pack VC SL/E. These ones have the blue 5 litre motor, TH350 trans.
That VC of yours is a factory shadowtone job, most had the black/silver. Others are Magnum silver over Aztec Silver(also with grey trim), Sandlewood Beige metallic over cream(buckskin trim and a very rare Shadowtone VC), Nocturnal Blue over Aztec Silver(Most likely blue trim) and last Dark Carmine over Firethorn Red(with Carmine interior).
Oh and the rear head rests, if the are able to tilt foward, even more rare. What you do is hop in the backseat, feel either side of the headrests, you might feel a round shape button, push those in and tilt foward.
If you PM you your VC Sl/E build plate, i'll try to figure out what you car has, like i did for you VB SL/E.

Usually Automotive shops like Autobarn sell them, stuff know how much, probably something like $1 per metre.

Hey skoobs if your looking for Pinstripe tape the best and the original OEM product is the 3M product, it will only be available through a 3M distributor. The cheaper brands lift on the edges and wear very quickly as apposed to the 3M product, it also comes in exactly the same widths as on the original SLE'S.
