Vk & Vl Chassis & Engine No Locations

Hi guys,

Can anyone please tell me where to locate the Chassis and Engine numbers of both VK & VL Commodores fitted with V8 engines?

VL tags are middle of the fire wall.

VK I think are on the front left strut tower.

Hmmm engine number is stamped on the block, lefthand side front on the pad, just near the engine mount. On a VL 5 litre the engine prefix should be VJ( or if its a HDT one VW), VK 5 litres well either VT or VA, VB, VG. Although VG prefix is usually on a Blue Meanie
