What is this white box?

Hey.
I wont bother with a long story.

What is the white box (about 2"x3"x1") which is bolted above the bonnet popper lever on both VH and VK commodores? (Possibly other models aswell).

Its bosch part number 9330065011 and it has wire terminals like this :-


I think it has something to do with the blower fan. But im not sure and i ned to know asap.

I'm pretty sure that VB-VLs had these.I think its for wires to the ignition.Don't hold me on that.
