    Default Conversion....

    Hey people,

    I have a mate who has smashed his ED XR8. I am wondering what parts i can take off him....

    - The T5 manual box? (Obviously need to get the bell housing elsewhere)
    - The clutch assembly?
    - The LSD?

    Would any of these fit into my manual 253 VH?
    What else could fit from his car into mine?

    Hey if you want to really want to bring unrest to the force and do a really odd conversion grab the complete driveline :P

    If it was me Id grab
    Gearbox complete belhousing to tailshaft
    Diff - odds are its 28 spline borgwarner and at worst oyu can use the centre & gears only. Odds are the suspension mopuntings are wrong and the diff is too wide.
    Brakes - check out the brakes these should bolt up to your car and might be upgraded to something from tickford.
    Master cylinder - might be a 1 inch.

    Just have a really good look over his car you would be surprised how many things are interchangable between ford & holden as well as other makes.
