what is the difference between v8 and v6? i am looking at kingspring lows (v8) for the front and v6 lows for the rear. I have cut rears now and the suckbumpy as and yea i want to upgrade. How low will the lows drop my car? (in MM if possible)
cheers to any replys, Pat
The only difference between 6 cylinder and V8 springs is the load rating (as a V8 powered car will have a heavier front end than a 6).
As for the ride height, lows are 25mm, super-lows are 50mm, and ultra's a little bit lower than that.
Hope that helps.
I was told that super low and ultra low are roughly the same height. It's just king springs uses the term 'super low' where as peddars use the term 'ultra lows'.
I have a set of king springs 'lows' in the back of my VH, and we have peddars 'ultra lows' in the back of PEAKN6, and no shit they sit bout the same...stuff all different...altho when the ultra lows were in the wagon it was dumped.
But as Jimboss said bout the v6 and v8 springs, the only difference is the load rating. So u gotta take into consideration that ur 6 wont be as heavy as an 8, so wont be as low.

I know that King springs do make ultra's, so i can only assume that they are lower than their super-lows, but i can't prove one way or another, it seems that there is a great amount of variance between how low two cars will be with the same springs in each. But as i said above, that's a rough guide to lows and super-lows (in the king springs brand).
I knew they had ultras but when i went into Supercheap they said they cant get ultras anymore and you can't buy them on ebay either? whats up with that? But i found cheap as lows so yea i am looking into those
