Rust/Split Body parts

Hey all, I was just wondering if I need to replace these body parts on my VK, or if it's possible to get them fixed. I have a couple of pics added too to show whats been done. Also, how much would it cost to get it fixed or replaced?

The areas are the front left fender, and right rear fender. I will also need to replace the rear bumper, but I didn't upload a pic cuz I know I need to replace that. (Please include cost of bumper too).

A new bumper will be about $100 off ebay but is a Taiwan copy but still is ok and would need to be re sprayed. The back panel would need to be cut back and repaired best with fibre glass sheets and bog. Bog alone isn't as good. As for the guard, you can simply replace it by getting one from the wreckers and respraying or getting some bog and fibre glass sheets and cut it all back and repair. Not a big job. The guard is held by about 10-12 bolts. Easy to take off.

You could clean it with rust convertor, bodybog or fibreglass it and respray the area..

Just make sure u get the right shape

The question is how much do you love the car?
For your OS front guard, if you want perfection get another good second hand guard and have it sprayed, else have the rusted area cleaned up and have new body steel welded in. If you plan on keeping the car dont fibreglass up a rust hole do the job properly.

As for your rear bumper, personally I would put a genuine GMH second hand bar on my car before a Repro bar. The repro bars are not the same as the originals and dont fit as well as the originals.
Also the chrome moulds for the bars are unavailable so look after them you may need to transfer them to a replacement bar. A good second hand bar anywhere from $30-$100.
To remove the moulds spray Inox or WD40 etc between the mould and the bar, undo the bar end bolts and slide the mould off the centre first. then slide it off the bar end. DO NOT bend the mould to release it from the bar you will stretch the metal and ruin the mould.

Cracks, splits etc in the bar can be repaired with a plastic repair kit which has special glues & adheision promoters to repair the bar as strong as new.
