Couple of questions - regarding my VC

Hey guys

Car: 81 VC L Series 6cyl on LPG.

My questions:

1) The brake lights arent working. Ive changed the switch, the globes and the fuses are all good but they still wont work. The lights for night driving work fine, but not the brake lights. URGENT

2) The speedo is out by about 8km/h, could it be that it has 15" SL/E's on it? Or maybe just needs a new cluster?

3) Will FE2 springs off non-irs VP ute fit the VC?

1. The only answer and if it doesnt fix it, then somethings not right! replace the wiring....what a crap job i know!

2.Is she a 202 now? could be a diff in engine size like a tacho

Nah its a different car mate.

I've been told to car it to auto elec but thats going to cost a fortune.. which side of the car do the brake wires run up?

Tail lights and other electrical gremlins are usually an issue with poor earthing in the boot, try sanding back a bit of the metal and making a new earth, new bit of wire in that section and replace all the fuses.. if that hasn't helped then you're going to have to re-do it like Goon said..
