how much?? VH SS

Hey Guys, im new here.
just wanting to pick ur brains about how much u think a genuine vh ss is worth??
im lookig at buying one thats a bit rusty under two doors and around front and rear windows.
the aircon has been removed and the powersteer is broke.
needs centre console, indicator switch and steering lock aswell as carpet and maybe seats, also window seals and flashing.
it has a 308 but its not the original as it came with a 253.
its has an auto but not original either.
it will need a panel and paint at some stage too

on the plus it has been lowered on a nice set of 17's, has the scoop, has tints and a group 3 body kit.

please let me know what u think

Have you got any photos? I dont know much about VH but I dont think you sould pay over $1200.

Honestly? In the condition you described, I wouldn't pay more than $1,000 for it. And only that because it's a genuine SS.

I've seen them go for over $10000 for neat ones but without seeing pics it's a bit hard to put a price on it.

i have one foto but it looks like it rolled off the production line, as i took

defently need to see pics mate ive seen some ruff ones go for between $1000 and $2500 but without seeing pics of this particular car its hard to say where are you located and where is the car might be someone on the forum that is near you and could have a look at it for you and give you an honest valuation

Wow! I thought even rough ones went for like between 6-7k, mainly coz they seem pretty rare, and coz its an ss.

nah vhpirie your thinking of the vh group 3 brock ss the plain vh ss is like a vy ss from now just a performance version of what is already on the market

Ahh I see! Well at least I know now, coz I thought they were all worth a fair bit.....lucky I aint rich otherwise I prolly would of made some dude very happy when I offered him a lot more for his VH SS then wat its worth haha.

i saw one about 2 months ago at a dealer here in adelaide for aroound 2k, ss vh white with a 308 i think. it had vt clubbie mags on it i think.

the vh ss are rare as iv got one there is two in A.C.T and there is 7 g3 brocks ss in A.C.T and iv seen vh ss go for like 9g

Yeah i'd say 10g max - depending on the condition.

I wouldn't think 10G for a ruff SS? A friend or a friend has one and he paid 5k for it with VT hsv wheels and rego'd, its pretty neat to!

I am looking at buying a VH SS at the moment. How do you know if it is an original Brock SS? Or even a standard SS?

Brock SS will have a build number, standard Holden SS don't.
