carby problem maybe?

Hey guys

The VC i've got now is a 202 on lpg. on gas, it runs like a dream

on petrol.. if you press the accelerator too hard it seems to choke and stalls most of the time.. i got told the primary is sticky.. what are the odds are true?

Any ideas?

I have the same problem also and i dont think its a fuel related problem as in fuel pump, lines, crud in tank ect.

Mine is LPG also and its the 202 not the V8

I bought another carby off working fuel only VH but i still have the same problem. I just cant think of what it could be.

it sounds like the comon problem. that is the seals and o-rings have dryed up in the carby and are causing it to run out of fuel under hard asseleration

or it could just be the fuel shut off solinoid not allowing enough fuel to keep the bowl full
