    Default tie rod ends

Just a qwik one....just bought some new tie rod ends, and the new ones don't have a hole in the thread to put a split pin, y is that? It has one of those nuts which have the 'plastic' sort of crap in the end so it stays tight, but I thought a split pin would still have to be used to ensure it WON'T come off.

Should I drill a hole in the thread for a split pin, or just not worry bout it?

    Cheers,
    Danny.

Cheers mate, just thought it was a bit odd. But I'm sure if they are using them they would have to be safe enough.

    Thx heaps.
