Gday guys, i have a VH Commodore with the original 173 and M76 in it, i have just rebuilt a hot 202 to go into her and now know that my M76 won't hold upto it so I'm opting for the T5. Everything in the car is standard at the moment I.e Diff, Tailshaft, Bellhousing, Clutch etc. What do i need for a T5 to bolt up to my 202? Im thinking bellhousing, tailshaft, clutch etc. Does anyone know exactly what I will need? Any help is much appreciated![]()
Cheers, Rhys
You have said the basics on what you need for a T5 into a 202 VH but i reckon you might also need a new gearbox cross member too. I have a feeling the gearbox will be closer to the 202 block than a 308 block.
For the bellhousing, see Dellow Automotive, i reckon they would make the correct bellhousing.

A lucky owner of 2 SL/E Commodores, a rare VB SL/E and a 2 tone VC SL/E. Just need a VH SL/E and have the set!
Gearbox crossmember is a definite, you can weld or bend one up or for less hassle HDT sell one that just bolts up.
The other thing you will need is a speedo cable, I have details on my site about speedo cables.
