VK oil pressure light

Hi guys,
I don't know if I have already asked this but I've forgotten if I have.

My VK has an oil pressure gauge and I always thought that all models would have the oil pressure warning light.
The lamp didn't come on when starting the engine so I checked for a blown globe.
When removing the surround I found that there was no globe, holder or wiring for the globe.
Is this normal.

The gauge is fitted instead of the light. You either have one or the other.
