Hi, I am looking at buying a VH SS Brock commodore. How do I know if it is an original SS and not a fake?
Do hsv have the Brock details or do you have to contact the HDT Brock Commodore club?

You can ring HDT and ask them. Even better is with $60 you also can get the build papers if it is a original HDT VH SS.
I know on the end of the model code it will have XV2, denotes its a SS model.

A lucky owner of 2 SL/E Commodores, a rare VB SL/E and a 2 tone VC SL/E. Just need a VH SL/E and have the set!
i know this is a two year old thread but is it true once you replace the motor is isnt authentic? does this make it worth less? im saving up for one also its plates say HDT can these plates be aquired by anyone or were they only put on the gens?
Theres HEAPS of fake Brock Commodores and the HDT plates can be bought at the local milk bar pretty much, so have it really checked out first. Also any Commodore could go to HDT at anytime and get plates put on if they did something to the car aside from all the fake plates
