202 black starter motor

hey i need 2 relpace the starter motor on my carby black 202 an was just wondering if its ok to replace with one from a wreckers or best 2 buy brand new?

that and also for the sa guys, were abouts would be the best place 2 go 2 get 1?

Yeah a second hand one would be fine as long as it works ok. Try U-PULL-IT.

To change them over tho u gotta remove the exhaust manifold, so the intake and carby will have to be removed as well.

good secondhand or new which ever you can afford it wont really matter. Try to buy a small bodied one as it will be easier to fit & remove later on. The small bodied ones are actually higher powered than the original larger bodied types.
