vk v8

hey guy's just a quick question. i've got a 308 vk vacationer wagon but the wiring under the bonnet is all over the place. if i can't find another v8 engine harness can i use a 6 cylinder harness and just extend the wires to suit? or should i just try and fix what i got? would any one have a vk v8 wiring diagram.

I would just rewire the harness you have, a good auto electrician should be able to sell you most of the connectors. You can salvage second hand wire from under the dash of wreaked VK commodores & down the drivers side so you keep the factory colours.
