Question 1.
I've heard the EFI holden 6's have starfire rods, is that correct?
Question 2.
When converting an auto to manual, on the firewall side where the clutch comes out, there's a small housing which the clutch cable sits in. In the auto car it is blanked off..do I have to remove it from the manual car and fit it to the auto car somehow?
Cheers,

Nope they have black 202 rods. The Starfire rods you are refering to are from the starfire 4 or misfire 4 as its more commonly known. These rods were apparently stronger than the standard 202 ones.
When doing a manual conversion you swap the entire pedal kit over. There is a butal rubber gasket which goes in between the pedal kit and the firewall. There is a steel spacer that goes between the clutch cable and the firewall that you will need as well.

Thx for the info mate. I got an EFI 6 short motor given to me so that's why I was curious. And bout the manual conversion, well my VH is manual and I'm looking at buying a VK wagon which is an auto, so I have all the gear in my VH. Also our SKiDWAGON use to be a manual (we bought it as an auto), and it still had that bit in the firewall, so does that mean the manual pedal box is still in it?
Thx for the help.
