ps sorry about the bad spelling
Only if you can afford to fill it up every 200kms.
ahhh dont worry about fuel man if u can get power out of it then go for it
Apparently the Webber's are a better choice.

Webber, Carter or you can make an adaptor plate for a Varijet.
go a 4 barrel holley something like a 390 with vaccum secondaries
yer the webers are supposed to be good but id still go a holley ive got a 350 holley on my black motor and ive had no dramers and it goes harder now
Webbers are alright i had one on my VH for quite a long time now i have a holley still have the webber as a spare its for sale if u want it. its a XF webber with inlet mainfold and all still in good working order
a 350 holley is way to big for a stock 202
The car is an SL/E so I would assume it's a 308.
SL/E's came out with 202's and 253's as well also blue 253's and 308's have a 4 barrel standerd so why go to a 2 barrel?
it is a blue 202 and thanks for your guys the reason i asked is that stock on is f**ked thanks agen

I sorry but what have u been smoking and where do i get some As my 202 is stock and i am running a 350 holley on it and it handles it fine my mate and i have been running 350 holley's on all our stack VB/VC/VH's for years with no prob
253 will take a 350 no probs it wont take a 600 or a 650 as u will be dumping to much fuel down its guts 308's will take 600 and above
yeah doesnt mean its making any more power? it would just use more fuel like i said before 390 4 barrel with vac secs
Its makeing a Sh*t load more power like i said before why put a 4 barrel when a 2 barrel will be just fine and you will be making a lot more power then a virjet or a webber. And if u can show me a pic of a stock 202 with a 4 barrel and that it can be done i will shut up but untill then i ask u once again what have u been smoking
Thats my whole point a 4 barrel will use a S**t load more fuel then what a 2 barrel will as a 4 barrel has bigger jets then what a stock 350 and i mean stock like it has not been jetted or had anything done to it. And the power thing well i can say on all the commodores i have owned and have put 350 holleys on i have had no probs makeing more power it has to do with the way u tune them and set them up thats all
Still waiting for a pic of a 4 barrel on a stock 202 and i think i may be waiting a while

Not a stock 202 but it is a 4 barrel.
OK fine but the whole point was that Dose pipe said put a 4 barrel on a stock and as u said that the 202 in the pic was not a stock 202 i am asking for a pic of a 4 barrel on a STOCK 202 not a hot 202
But i must say that looks sweet
IMO I just think a Holley is not the best choice for a street car. Too unpredictable. It's fine to say you have to know how to tune them, but from experience they tend to need tuning too often. I had a Carter from a 265 Hemi on a 186 and on a Ford 250 2V, both cars went hard and I never had any dramas with either of them. Same carby on both engines by the way. Also played with an XF Webber on a 202.
This question pops up every bloody month!!!!! Yes you can run the holley on a stock motor and Yes! it will give you gains when tweaked like float levels, jet size, metering block ect ect. Stock holley on stock motor no go! well it will but wont be very quick off the line untill you get nice and high in the rpm not to mention the consuption of fuel.
exactly rite u tweak the jets n sh*t ull have no troubles i say go 4 the holley
yeah but you had a decent cam good headwork and nitrous
