hi ive got a 202 black motor (carb) and just wondering what vacume lines that are not needed or could give me more performance if i toook them off
cheers
None of them would improve your performance by removing them. They only really affect the running of the car when the sensor or fitting they are attached to is buggered or if the line itself is perished and leaking. They look like they impede performance but they are there to do a job. If you change the carby then some will not be needed but I would recommend leaving them alone.
yer im gunna put a 350 holley on it i had 1 on my last vk it it ran sweet i just wasnt sure which lines could be removed wen i put it on
You should keep lines like your vac advance for the dizzy make sure you fit a restrictor valve so it doesnt get too much vacume if you run it off the manifold.
It should be ported through a Thermal vacume switch so it only comes on when the car is warm also.
Other leads that you may need find out if the 350 has aelectric or vac choke if vac you will need a thermal switch for the choke as well.
cheers
