Mucking around with some styling ideas for meh VK in the future.

When I get it repainted (same colours),

was thinking of getting some of these tail lights...



Then was thinking I could get a new center piece made out of fibreglass for between the lights same as the origional one except having it all smooth instead of the horizontal division / gap in the old one, painting it same colour as bumpers and putting this sticker on the new centerpiece.



Not too sure on colours tho :

black center, silver sticker or

silver center , red sticker (car colour) or

red center, silver sticker...

Whaddya reckon??

i have seen a vl with those clear tail lights with a black garnish, and 1 with a grey garnish, both looked silly. only way for them to not look silly is having a matching garnish to the taillights, then all of it would look silly. Lol so i dont think ya gunna win but hell, give it a shot man, never know till ya do it

As bigdaz says, if you go to a plastics supplier they should be able to bend you up a new garnish out of similar material to suit the tail light then you would have a sticker made up for what you can and stick on it.

As for the looks... each to their own its your car if you like it go for it.

LOL - I am easily lead, and the more I look at it the more I think those lights look like crap!

I think I will save my money for the V6
