Post trans tunnel (too narrow ?)

    Hey guys

I'm just wanting to know if i can use a trans from vn to vs and put into my
VH SL/E I am currently looking at putting a EFI 5.0l from vn to vs.

I have just recieved the vehicle modification paper work from dept. of transport. No engineers report required ( great )

I have heard that i need to do some panel beating in the tunnel to fit the trans. could someone please shed somelight on this matter.

some pics would be great to see how much panel beating is needed.

    Thanks.

if the vh is like my old torana and was originally manual think you will need to do panel beating under there as the manual tunnel is narrower then the auto if its an auto shell shouldnt been a problem im not completely sure tho better wait for more info there is alot of info about efi 5 litre conversions floating around take a look might just explain what you need to do

If you will be running a 5 speed it will be just fine. If you going to run your trimatic it will be just fine, might need a different bellhousing depending on bolt patterns. If your running the 4 speed auto you will need a slight transmission tunnel massage to fit the oil pan of the auto.

    cheers
