    Default High RPM Not Good!

    Hey All

    Was out in the town tonight and had a near miss after some ******** ran a redlight and almost got cleaned up, 1 sec differnece 4 sure! so i booted my car to avoid it and now my rides rev'n hard! i tried the slow idle didnt do crap, but if i push the plunger in on the vaccum ithe idle drops to id say normal..

    I was gonna say maybe the throttle got stuck a little when you booted it. Did the carby get stuck open a little way? Hmmm...I dunno. Good that you didn't get hit though. That'd just be bad!!!

    Nah i gave my ride revs, shes driveable, runs hard and fast but i know its not good for it, it hurt to stop at a stoplight such real high revs..i had to get it home

    my rpm gauge had to cut out on me today, i think the gauge is screwd.

    so i dont know what its idling at but 55+ vaccum is allot in N

    Goon.. i have that problem too at times.. it fixes its self after a day though

    Ive fixed it anyway, was just a bent wire tie on the throttle, was getting caught.

    Yeah watch out for anything that might catch on the throttle lever. On my car, there are a couple of hoses very close to the throttle lever that I had to cable tie up or it could catch on the lever and I'd be in trouble
