    Default vl panels to vk

    ey guys
    im wondering if i could put vl front side panels, bonet n front vl bodykit to a vk making it half vl n half vk is this possible???

    no pretty sure the vl is completely different from firewall forward would be posible with a lot of time and $$$$$ and an engineer if you cut the whole front off you vk and welded a vl front on maybe

    VL's are not completely different from the firewall forward, just slightly different, mainly around the headlight/radiator support.

    it can be done as i have actually seen one done before, kinda looked odd though.

    anything is possible with time and money!!

    Yes can be done, you need to change the radiator support over as they are different, front apron included. change the guards, bonnet, lights etc and your good to go.

    thanks for that guys, i thought it would good little project to do, it wouldnt reli cost much as i would get everything from u-pull-it its just a matter of having time to do it.

    If your going to do it that way get a front cut through the towers, that way you can unpick the spot welds on the subframe skirts, along the chassis rails & radiator support to make the job look really good.
