Default Electronic fuel pump for Carbie

Hey guys a guy I know gave me an electronic fuel pump and webber carbie off an XF falcon. The pump is almost brand new and its suited to carbie XF falcon.
Would it be good to bolt onto my 202 now and put the carbie on later when i get the adapter plate?
I reckon it'd be ok as its a carbie pump.

As long as you had the pressure regulator and the return line hooked up it should work.
