I got 2 12" thermo's, and was wondering would they be better to mount in front of the radiator and blow the air through, or mount behind and suck it through? Would 2 12's be enuf to keep my motor kool without the clutch fan?
For now they'll only be wired up to a switch in the cabin.
I realise there's prolly a thread here somewhere which answers my question, but I'm too tired to go searchin so thought I'd post it b4 I went to bed![]()

I used to run 1x18" Electric behind the radiator on my VK.
Blow or suck they will work the same.
cheers

Yea i rather a suck then a blow
Thx guys....would it be best to put the shroud back as well?.....not sure if there will be room if the twins are there, but if it's possible should I try and fit the thermo's inside the shroud to provide maximum air flow to the motor and maximum air drawn through the radiator?
The only time I've used a thermo was when we put one on the SKiDWAGON. That never ran hot with a clutch fan (only once out on the pad), and we put a VR thermo in it, to suck through and blow on the motor, but after a few minutes of idling it for the first time with the thermo, the temp went up heaps. That wasn't sitting flush against the radiator tho so I'm guessing that was the problem.

yeah if you had like 16 inch that would fit in the shroud it would be improved. it not really neccessary but it helps
