    Hey
Anyone know where i can get a steering wheel puller for a vc.
I need to change the indicator stalk as the high beams switch jammed on (!!!!!!!!!!!) so yeah i couldn't get the wheel off, i tried making my own puller with 5mm metal but it bent!

    Thanks

Whoa random...... Kizza.... its Geoff, petes mate. Good setup at the party the other night, it was such a good party. Steering wheels are a pain in the ass to get off, but yeah not too bad, i got a claw pulley that would prob work, but i didnt need it for my steering wheel, as vkberlina said, loosin the nut so its nearly off but not all the way off, and pull and twist and yank and kick and wrestle with it til is comes off.
It will come off eventually dont worry.

Undo the nut, hit the wheel hard and fast at 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock left right left right. That will jar the taper loose and it should come off.

Hit it with your hands by the way, not a hammer.

im goin with wagon wheel just pull till you pass out. they do come off. I slid my seat really close to the wheel and got my knees behind it then pulled with my body and twisted and pulled and whacked it and eventually it came off. I went flying backwards but i got it off!!

Can vouch for the above method, the vibrations set up jumps the wheel off it's taper. You have to thump the wheel pretty hard and fast though.
