What to do the car or parts!

I'm thinking about selling my baby vc soon i know!

but i have my reasons...

anywayz ive had thoughts of selling the car whole, but some ppl says i should sell it for parts.. would parts for a car like this go fast? and if so suggestions on where to sell the parts?

the local wreckers wants peanuts for my ride! not enough peanuts for me, but it's a last resort...

Thats all they're worth really i sold my VH for 400 because thats all i would pay for it if i bought it again

i just figured all the hours work he put into it that the price might of been a bit higher, and from what ive seen it is a nice clean looker for its age.

Depends how much room u have mate and how qwik u need the coin. If u sell the thing as a whole u would get less money, but then u don't have to worry bout it anymore. If u sell it for parts u might sell a few bits and pieces every few weeks and still be left with the majority of it a few months down the track.

But u could also sell the most expensive parts on it, then either sell the rest to the wreckers for peanuts or take it to the scrap man for a few dollars. But personally I wouldn't take it to the wreckers or scrap man if it's still a straight body....I've made the mistake of stuffing up 2 good straight bodies and I regret it now....even tho they're everywhere...I just don't like getting rid of stuff unless it's totally useless lol.

But yeah if ur looking to just move onto something different, I'd just sell the whole car as a whole. As ya don't want much for it, some school kid would prolly love it as a first car.

And don't sell it to PEAKN6......we already have 5 older Commodores out the back

Yeah i hear ya, i brought her for around the same price when i found her, but shes needs like a few service crap like wheel alignment and 1 front tyer and new seat belts! which make me think about the extra cost, if it didnt have that id jack up the price..

I hear ya! though a wheel alignment would make it suitable for long distance driving , Haha i got 7 cars in my yard, lol kinda another reson why i have to sell her..

shame you're selling up, from what Ive seen you've put quite a bit of work into that car, I couldnt bear to part with my VK now for that very reason...

I'm sure you have your reasons, I guess if you sell it whole, try and make sure it goes to a good home.
