hows it goin everyone, just a quick question
i have a 5.0l out of a vs in my VH but i dont have a filter because i dont know whether to fit in the standard box or go after market. Does anybody have any pics of some options or ideas that would be great. Thanks.
personally i'd look at an airbox and fitting some sort of cold air intake. Mainly due to the fact its more legal than having a pod and better than a pod breathing hot engine air. If your not to concerned about possible defect and want something that looks good. Move the battery to the boot and with some polished pipe run it down through the guard and have a pod on the end of it.
I had the same problem when i put a V6 in my VK.
Ended up mounting the battery (a short one) on the other side, and using a factory airbox setup. not pics tho sorry.

I have the battery re-located to the other side, the airbox is standard VN. I wouldn't recommend fitting a pod filter for the simple reason that they sound ****.
