    Default Which Carb??

Im looking into getting a better carb for my commie. The engine is a red 202 with a single barrel stromberg and will have extractors very soon and maybe a cam in the future. I have heard of people using holley 350 but these sound like they suck fuel like a pool filter. Also something fairly easy to fit would be a bonus.

The weber seems to be more and more popular on 202's. I have heard nothing but good results, better economy, better low down power, and over all power.

thats why the 34adm weber is so popular, i'm currently in the process of seeing my fuel use now that i have the new motor in with the weber on top, and i have to say i'm very impressed, with the old motor (2.8 or 173 old school) and varajet i would just get over a week out of a tank, now with new motor (3.3 or 202 old school, very warm cam(25/65) and a few other mods) and the weber i'm upto 10 days and just nudged the half tank mark, i would put the km's but me trip gauge aint working, so from my experiance i would go the 34 weber for sure

A 186S carby and manifold will bolt up to a red 202. The carby is a WW Stromberg which is a 2 barrel and is the same as a 253 red motor carby but with different jets. This will give you more power and better fuel economy. This setup might be hard to find nowdays so it might be easier to get a 2 barrel manifold from somewhere and use an adaptor plate to get a 34 ADM weber to fit.
