Will vy signatures fit onto a VH? just not sure about the stud pattern between the two.
as far as i know, the stud pattern is the same, but the centre hub is slightly different.

so centre hub being slightly different means it will or wont fit?
they will defiantly bolt on to the car, wether or not they rub or can fit under the guards is another question all together dependin on there width and how much the car is lowered if at all cause if i remeber corretly there 19's and while i can fit 19/20's on my VK i dont think i can turn with them on since most are pretty wide and since VHs are the same it really depends on the width of the rim/tyre.
this was posted on ls1.com.au in reply to a question i asked a few years ago
"One thing I find people don't seem to pay enough attention to is the center bore of the wheel they fit to their cars. The center bore has an important function in that it is supposed to carry the suspension loads and let the wheel studs take care of the drive and keeping the wheel snug against the hub.
The ultimate demonstration of this is the pin drive wheels used on the V8 supercars and most serious race cars. The wheel is held on with a large single nut. It can do this because the hub that wheel sits on is snug in the center bore and the drive is supplied by pins that engage the back of the wheel. All the wheel nut has to do is keep the wheel snugged up against the hub.
If you fit a wheel to your car that has a larger center bore than the snout on your hub then as your wheel rides up and down over the bumps the shock loads are transmitted to the wheel studs. These are shear loads which is something studs aren't good at coping with. The result when combined with high horsepower and bumpy roads / firm suspension is snapped wheel studs.
So remember when fitting new wheels to check the center bore is a snug fit over the hubs on your car.
Cheers
Mike"

Im asking for a friend, he brought some vy signatures hes going to put on his vh which is coming out of the paint shop soon.
So if the center bore isnt a snug fit, what could be done? are the hubs replaceable from another model? this way he can do a brake upgrade at the same time.
In all honesty, I don't know if it is a major problem. I don't know if it is safe though either!! Apparently you can get shims/spacers to go inside the hub.
People will probably tell you it is safe just to do it anyway. I'm not going to say either way!!
