vh shockers

Hi, i have a vh commodore, that has stuffed shockers, could someone tell me the best way to remove them

rears are easy, just a matter of undoing the top nut in the boot and the bolt on the diff housing, the fronts on the other hand, u'll need spring compressers and a rattle gun comes in handy

Yeah the fronts take a while. You gotta pull the whole strut assembly out (altho it can be done in the car), then remove the strut mount on top, but b4 ya do that ya chuck the spring compressors on and compress the spring so when ya undo the nut on the top (use a rattle gun for that) holding the lot 2gether it doesn't spring out and kill someone. Then once that's all off ya undo the big nut thing holding the shocky into the strut, then the shocky comes out and u put the new one in and chuck everything back 2gether.
