I have a VH Commodore with a 4.2 Litre Engine and a Trimatic Transmission which had been disassembled for some time.
During this period, water got into the transmission and torque converter.
I have taken the pan off the transmission and drained the fluid from it and there is no sign of any rust or any water still in it.
I have also drained some of the fluid from the torque converter and there is still water and fluid in it of which I am having difficulty removing.
Flushing it seems to be the way to go, of which I have researched online and there seems to be various ways to do it, but I am NOT SURE what is the best way to go about it.
HAS ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE AND HOW DID THEY RESOLVE IT?
