just thought i would see others opinions on this, now that the new motor is well and truly run in i'm having clutch issues already, it's a brand new standard vc clutch on a machined flywheel but it doesn't seem to be handling the extra power that the motor has and has started slipping a tad under heavy treatment, as i have a spare auto vc sitting in the shed i have everything i need to convert it to an auto, but i like my manuals, so what should i do spend the cash on a new performance clutch or convert the old girl to auto, but bare in mind if i convert her to auto that means the missus can drive it, not sure if thats a good or bad thing yet
keep it manual, a mans car is sacred![]()
We got rep back, yaaay!
lol, sacred it is, but if i keep it manual it will cost me, new performance clutch and diff centre, the centre to try and take some pressure of the rest of the driveline
if it was a factory manual then I'd leave it as such...
Yeah just get a heavy duty clutch.....auto's are no fun![]()
