Anyway have an idea of how much it will cost to respray a car yaself?

Looked at doing my brothers VN, which was a complete bare metal respray on the roof and just a quick spray over the whoel car, was gonna cost bout 600 for all the materials, paint, thinners, sand paper etc. But we already have all the equipment. Also your not actually suppose to paint at home anymore its illegal so doing it in a well ventilated shed or somewhere you cant be seen incase a council member drives by.

yeah i am in the middle of respraying the bonnet and though i may aswell do the hole car.
never thought it would of been illegal to do it yourself.
