removing the rear door glass

hey all, neone know how to remove the rear windows in the doors?(in the VH/VK)
ive tried getting it out but failed to do so. even tried removing the baileys-channel first but no luck.

any help would be great.

i cant' remember how i got them out the vh. the regulator thing and all the seals etc were pretty much useless afterwards. a hammer may have been involved.

the fronts are easier, but i'm guessing you know that already!!

yea done the fronts.

im replacing the rears so i cant really use the hammer but cheers neways

From what i can remember ( been a while since i done it ) you have to remove the window runner ? first . thats the one between the window and the small quarter window . If memory serves me correct there is a screw under the door seal on the top of the door frame and one on the inside of the door behind the door trim . I'm not sure but i think you have to remove the chrome trim that runs along the door where the window slides into . when you remove the two screws twist the window channel and pull it out through the top of the window opening .The window must be down first . Make sure you pull it out through the inside of the door not the outside or it will get stuck on the window frame .
Then if you undo the window regulator and sile it sidways while winding the window up a fraction it should come out .

ok cheers mate i might have a go 2morra. when u say regulator i instantly think of the front window regulators, the model your thinking of did it have those sorta regulators in the back? coz mine are just cables?

i was thinking of removing that bit between the windows coz i wanted to pull out the 1/4 window too so i could tint it easier, do these windows just slide out too or are they in there by sikaflex or somthing?
