removing sump without taking out the engine - 83 VH

possible ? i have a leak and really cannot be ****ed taking out the engine to fix it.. thanks for any help.. =)

Yes it can be done. You have to support the engine via a frame across the strut towers and remove the k-frame to gain acess to the sump.

wrong section but I'll answer your question for you bud...Easy done without taking out the engine....remove the K-Frame.

I've done by unbolting engine mounts and lifting it up supporting it either across the strut towers or blocks of wood under the engine mounts . not easy to with the k frame in the way. This was on a VH 202 btw.
