vk diff housing

selling my vs acclaim soon for a vl calais and just wanted to know, is the vk 5.0l diff off center or is it exactly in the center?

i mean, is the main bulge in the diff in the middle or to one side like the vl?

and can it bolt straight up to a vl chassis when doing a 5.0ltr conversion?

i want to transplant a vk diff into my future vl calais and not have to worry about all that "one long, one short" halfshaft bull****.

i just bought a VK , my diff is dead center, i have an LSD, its not a stock diff, but yeah mines in the center mate if that helps

If your talking about the different length axels dont all commodores have the different axels ?
