The adjusters are prolly broken on the inside.....they get very brittle.....ya can't even pull them out without breaking them normally. I doubt u would be able to buy them new, so may as well get some new headlights if ya don't wanna stick some card board under the light haha. I rekon there's a guy on ebay which normally sells new ones for about $80-$90 a pair.

    Hi Dave,
It does sound like your adjusters are broken. You should be able to see through the whole in the back of the headlight to where the adjusters are connected to the reflector (mind you, this is difficult when the lights are fitted). You should be able to the see the affects of turning the adjusters. And you will soon be able to determine if they are not working properly.
If you do want to replace them with a new set i have them in stock nearly all the time, a pair of new non genuine ones is $59.40, plus postage. They are the ones pictured below. The only downside with them is they don't come with the rubber seal that goes around the bulbs on the back of headlights so you will need to use your old rubber seals.
Let me know if you have any questions.

    Best Regards
    Andrew

    Hi Tom,
Delivery on a pair of VK Headlights to VIC will be $24.75 via a registered delivery service. Postal insurance is $3.50.
So the total for a pair of VK headlights including delivery to VIC is $79.65.

I have got the VN ones in stock as well, in fact just fitted a set to a VG ute this week its amazing the difference a new set of headlights make.
The VN ones are $103.90 for the pair and delivery is $27.75. That makes the total of the VN ones $131.65.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Regards
    Andrew
