hi all, is it possible to swap the varajet carby for a stromberg single or double carby and if so, which is the best.thanks
you would need to change the intake manifold. another option would be to convert to a webber carby, it's a fairly simple conversion i'm told, you get em from the local ford wrecker of the early ford carbied 6's

As previously stated you could fit a ford carby on it which is a near copy of a 2 stage down draft weber or you could put a twin barrel 260-280 Holley on it with an adaptor plate, from memory thats what i had on my old 192 with a set of extractors was good on juice and had a good power range, unless ya got it worked a 350 is a bit too big (flat spots). To be honest i dont know that you would be able to get a new one these days, and if ya could who knows how many dracma it would cost.
