Hi
My nanna is selling her VK commodore SL sedan.
It has a 5 speed manual gearbox
3.3 litre 6 cylinder engine.
Its done about 100000kms
There is a tiny bit of rust on the top of the left fender.
The only problem is it is green. All interior and exterior is green.
What do you think it is worth?
thanks
$2000 - $3,000 As It Has Low Kays,manual,older Driver.
Cheers.![]()

thanks mate. if i bought it now and drove it for maybe a year or so untill i saved up for somthing better, would it retain its value?
if u got it for around 1500 u would get your money back....
but considering u can go buy a vr these days for 3000 its a long shot that it will retain the value if u pay alot for it..
and as far as the kays go u will never be sure as alot of the time the odometer will stick and not give an acurate reading..
or the owner has changed it![]()
wrecking VL COMMODORE 5 speed
FOR SALE : supra 5 speed box suite holden v8 $800
It has to be worth something with low km's,but hey also if owned by an older person also means hasnt been driven regularilly.Carbon build up on top of the pistons creating pinging just to name a future problem if you purchase the vehicle. But i would have to say if registered maybe between $1200 to $1500.
around $2000 give or take.. being manual.. p platers dream![]()
And you think green is badTry hanging out in 99 out of 100 grey VN and VP's for a while and you'll be dreaming or green interiors and early Commodores. What early Commoodres are worth and what they are worth to the right buyer are totaly different. I've been offered 2 grand for my VH SLE and it's just a 202 with faded paint no rego nothing, I'm constantly hassled by people that want to buy it. But I think well what's the point in selling a whoooole car and classic one at that for 2 grand, you can't buy anything for two grand so I'll just keep it till somone wants to pay decent money for it
